A downloadable game

Earth.

The planet upon which humans dwell.

Minding their own business, a giant mothership appeared in the sky -- dispatching an army of mecha to colonize the planet.

However, despite all odds and inferior weaponry, humanity managed to drive back the aliens and reclaim their planet.

Though the victory was sweet, they realized how vulnerable they were to otherworldly threats.

That is when the Mech Squad Project, or, MSP for short -- came into being.

By reverse-engineering the units that the aliens had left behind, humanity now had a strong defensive unit against any and all future alien invasion.

With all that aside -- here's a love story.
