What was CC's official score in SBIG 2017?

This year's SBIG Jam ended, and I have been updating my ranking announcement posts to show the actual rating distribution chart along with the ranking score for comparison, and I realized.... wow.... I NEVER talked about CC's ranking when the voting ended?! Well, better late than never.... 5 years ago, in the first SBIG Jam, Crystal Captor for some odd reason ranked #1 out of 26 entries! It was a simpler time, before the introduction of the modifier, before the individual categories.... back then, there was only one criteria, the most important.... was it so bad it's good? And apparently, CC checked all the right boxes, because there you go!

Since then, CC has been a TOUGH act to follow! And believe it or not, I do not think it is because a lot more criteria + a modifier was introduced. CC just has something special about it. It was hardly crammed (last 3 years I've been cramming, often having to scope back or only release demos) and just a lot of fun. Not to say the last 3 years have not been fun, they have been, but CC will hold a special place in my heart for being my first completed RPG Maker game, and I hope you're all looking forward to ACT 1 of the upcoming sequel ^^

To put into perspective why CC is a hard act to follow, here's the ranking for our other entries:

I honestly don't think CC could ever be beaten, but I join SBIG Jam every year not to win but simply to have fun and I have loved every single game that I have made with my team that's come out of it. It's a time to experiment, try new things, worry not about polish, and just have fun, but I do hope to have an easier time next year and avoid cramming which I think has been a big part of the crutch. We may never reach #1 like we did with CC, but perhaps one day we'll return to the top 10! ^^

Again, thank you to ALL OF YOU who have played our games, and shown a lot of love to CC over the years. It's still in my Top 5 most downloaded games (my third most downloaded to be precise), and we hope you're excited for the sequel which is still in the works, slowly but surely! With even more mind numbing plot twists, character banter, revelations, lore, the power of love, and Mr. Cabbage!
